Instant Red chilli pickle - Instant Pickle made from red chillies marinated in mustard seeds and flavoured with fennel seeds. You can find quickest red pickle recipe from fresh red chillies. This is traditional Indian chilli pickle recipe.
  • 100 gm fresh red chillies
  • 3 tbsp mustard seeds (in lentil form)/ rai na kuriya
  • 1 tbsp fennel seeds, saunf
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 5-6 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  1. Wash the fresh red chillies and wipe them with kitchen towel.
  2. De-seeds them and Cut them lengthwise.
  3. In separate bowl, mix the mustard seeds, fennel seeds, salt, turmeric powder, lemon juice and 2 tbsp oil.
  4. Add the red chillies into this mixture and stir well.
  5. Take a pickle jar, and fill it with this red chilli pickle. Pour remaining oil into jar and let it rest for 2-3 hours.
  6. After 3 hours, your pickle is ready to serve.
1) You can store this instant red chili pickle for 7 days.
